also some other important things to note:

- the main way you would attempt to determine sex of a skeleton is checking a notch in the side of the pelvis. as Chris mentioned in the tags here, most of the time it is indeterminate, potentially male, or potentially female. sometimes it will be most likely female, or most likely male, but this is pretty uncommon if not rare.
